We’ve upgraded our Academy from boring rotational drills to more fun and engaging developmental soccer. Give your child a head start on their soccer journey with the GulfSouth RUSH Soccer Academy, proudly led by former English professional Jorell Johnson, head of International Soccer Academy. Designed for players ages 5–8 of all skill levels, this program bridges the gap between recreational and competitive soccer by offering high-quality, fun-based training from licensed professional coaches. The Academy is not a replacement for Walton County rec soccer but an ideal complement—providing a safe, engaging environment where young athletes build confidence, creativity, and essential skills through purposeful play until they are ready for more competitive play. With a focus on early development and a love for the game, the GulfSouth Soccer Academy lays the foundation for long-term growth both on and off the field. Coach JJ’s experience playing at the premier levels of English soccer and coaching children of all ages provides the tools for your child to stand out at recreational soccer while also bridging the gap from rec to competitive travel play. Each week, Coach JJ will provide fun and engaging activities followed by small-sided play.

Older than 8, but not ready to commit to competitive travel ball, and still want training from the highest quality and certified licensed coaches in the area? We have several coaches who provide private 1-on-1 and group training throughout the year, including Coach JJ, Coach Abby, and Coach Adam.
