Our teams practice at the Walton Sports Complex which is located at 6435 US Highway 98, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.  The complex is located behind Dune Lakes Elementary School. Click here to view more details and map.

For all club players, a mutual one-year commitment (August – May) is expected along with regular attendance at practice sessions, tournaments and “friendly” matches.

Teams train twice a week with each session lasting approximately 1 ½ hours. Training nights are currently Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We do offer optional skills training and goalkeeper training sessions which is included in the registration fee.

Teams will play in a minimum 6 tournaments (3 in Fall and 3 in Spring) and “friendly” matches.  Locations include Foley, AL, Tallahassee, FL, Dothan, AL, Panama City Beach, and Destin, FL. Teams have also played in larger tournaments in New Orleans, Jacksonville, and Orlando.
however most play is between Mobile and
Tallahassee.  Check out the Where We Play page for specific locations and maps.

GulfSouth Soccer Club car stickers are free and can be picked up from any board member or team manager. All the cool kids have the sticker on the lower left driver side back window.

The differences vary by program.  With recreational soccer, coaches are typically parents who volunteer.  At GulfSouth, our coaches are paid staff with experience coaching players at various levels.  Recreational matches are often one game played each weekend.  Our matches are scheduled around league and tournament dates where multiple games are played on certain dates or weekends.  Some recreational teams are a mix of boys and girls on a team.  Our club teams consist of boys and girls divisions.

Players are required to wear the official GulfSouth Uniform, soccer cleats and shin guards when participating.  The uniform is the only item required for our players.

The Spring season goes from August through early November.

The Fall season goes from February through May.

There are breaks inside some of the seasons which often mirror the school breaks, for example Spring Break.

Yes!  As a 501c3 not-for-profit youth soccer club, donations are always welcome. Donations are never used for administrative costs, but are used for things such as player scholarships and purchase of new equipment

We strive to teach our players the importance of giving back to their community and offer a
service activity for players and families each season. In addition, there are opportunities for
volunteering at our host tournaments in November and in May each year. Field marshals are
always needed, along with other volunteers. Service hours are provided upon request.
